You should know how to control stress for a motivated life. Read the blog post to find out some of the stress control tips.

1-Do the right thing

As an Architect and Interior Designer, I associated with one person, whom I trusted a lot. But later on, I found that he was not following my drawings and that would definitely affect the structural integrity of a building.

Since I had known him for a long time and he was responsible for me to get the job, I was in dilemma what to do next. My conscience didn’t allow me to let things go as it is, but I was also not in a state to speak anything against him.

Because of that, I had many sleepless nights and I was really stressed up. But later on, I made the decision of doing the right thing no matter what happens next. And I just cannot explain how relieved I felt after that.

Always do the right thing no matter what happens tomorrow. Choose your mental peace first. If you are stress-free and relaxed, then you can face any challenge that life will bring.

2-Learn to say no

It’s better you prioritize your things before saying ‘Yes’ to anybody. They are times when you want to say ‘No’ but you say ‘Yes’ because you don’t know how to say ‘No’. If you want to avoid stress in your life, improve the quality of your life, ‘Learn to say No’

You don’t become a selfish person if you say no to someone for the things which will burden you if you take them up. So be guilt-free and kind to yourself. And seriously it is not rocket science. You just have to be polite and explain to them why are saying no and that’s it.

3-Giving helps in stress relief

Try giving. Selfless giving to someone will give you immense pleasure that will help you to manage your stress which will eventually lead to a happy and stress-free life.

No matter in whatever situation your life is, you are always in a condition to give somebody. Also, be kind and humble with your words. Is just not about money all the time. Sometimes people need to be heard. Be that person.

Helping others will affect your life positively. If you can become the reason to bring a smile on the face of someone needy then it will eventually bring a smile in your life. Learn to give to bring happiness in your life.

4-Learn to forgive for stress management

You have to learn to forgive others if you want stress relief. Forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.

If you are angry and annoyed with somebody then you are occupying a huge space in your mind having bad feelings for that person. Learn to let it go. There is more to life than to have hatred for somebody.

It is another very crucial life-changing skill that will help in stress management which will eventually lead to stress relief, placate anxiety, and will help you to have a happy life, a positive life.

5-Stay away from toxic people

Be very careful with the people who surround you. It’s better to be alone than to be with someone who always degrades you and is always ready to point out your flaws.

We all are flawed. Toxic people will always try to bring your morale down. Their behavior adds negativity and despondency. It’s their nature. And we, as a human are always inclined towards negativity. You have to take measures to keep yourselves motivated.

So if you have someone whom you consider close, but that person always points out the negative things in you, it’s better you sideline from that person. This world is full of people who are always ready to drag you down, we don’t need one from our own.
