ये कैसी मोहब्बत है?
वो कैसी मोहब्बत थी उसकी,
जो इंतज़ार की हदों से दूर,
ख़ुद में ही मुतमइन थी।
जो कई सदियाँ बीत जाने के बाद भी,
दिल के किसी कोने में,
आज भी जवाँ थी I
जिसे वो पा भी नहीं सकता था,
और आज हासिल करने की चाहत भी न थी।
बस ख़्वाहिश थी उसकी,
कि वो हमेशा मुस्कुराती रहे I
उसकी आँखों की चमक,
कभी फीकी न पड़े I
उसे भले ही वो याद रहे… न रहे,
बस दिल खोल हँसना,
हमेशा याद रहे I
ज़िंदगी को ख़ुद में समेटना,
याद रहे I
ये कैसी मोहब्बत थी उसकी,
जो यादों की क़ैद से परे,
उसके रूह में बसी थी I
