Broken and Lost
I am a Warrior… Life once felt peaceful, but then a storm hit, leaving me broken and lost. For a while, I didn’t recognize myself. But I realized I had a choice: I could stay down or rise. No matter how hard life hits, I choose to stand. I may seem fragile, but I’m unbreakable. I am a warrior.
I am a Warrior
I am still the same,
but the time has changed.
I am still the same,
But the world has changed.
I was enjoying the lovely walk.
Strolling amongst the stars,
sauntering with the flowers.
Enjoying the lovely sunshine.
Listening to cackling birds,
and it felt divine.
I was happy,
walking along the wind.
It gifted me everything,
And I felt I was dreaming.
When the wind changed into the storm,
I was totally unaware.
When it tormented my soul,
I was totally unaware.
I was standing dumbstruck,
and I fumbled for a while.
I got struct with a nightmare,
It was hideous.
And I couldn't believe,
I was still alive.
Standing like a victim,
I saw a reflection.
I looked all bruised up,
with agony and affliction.
A sign of relief,
Was lost somewhere.
My own identity,
Got buried somewhere.
Weeping over debris,
I spent my days.
There were no summers,
no winters.
Only my brutal,
past remain.
I never dreamt,
but yet it happened.
Probably this is life,
things which are meant to happen
will happen.
My eyes were swollen,
My tears were dry.
I still felt like a victim,
But how long could I cry.
Nature showed its nature,
now it's my turn.
I lamented a lot,
It is time to take a U-turn.
I know it's my life,
And I know I am born to rise.
No matter how hard the wind hit me,
I will stand
Because it is my choice.
And I chose to stand,
And I chose to get stronger.
I know I look fragile and weak.
But I am impregnable,
Because I am a warrior.
