‘Matlabi Duniya Aur Khoti Hui Insaniyat’ reflects the stark reality of self-centeredness in the world we live in. This poem expresses the pain and disillusionment of seeing how people prioritize their own needs, often forgetting the essence of humanity and genuine connection. The poem delves into the superficial relationship where intentions are questioned, support is fleeting, and people are left searching for meaning amidst the glitter of materialism.
Through these verses, I hope to remind readers to reflect on their own actions and revive the forgotten values of kindness and compassion in this ever-changing, self-serving world.
मतलबी दुनिया और खोती इंसानियत
मतलबी दुनिया है
हर चीज़ में मतलब ढूंढती है
कोई हाथ बढ़ाए साथ का
तो साथ देने की वजह ढूंढती है
गहराई में डूबता देख किसी को
मुस्कुरा कर राह बदल लेती है
कोई हाथ मांगे साथ का
तो साथ देकर बीच में तन्हा
छोड़ देती है
इतनी चमक है हर जगह
कि खुद का चेहरा भूल बैठे हैं
इस मतलबी दुनिया में लोग
इंसानियत भूल बैठे हैं।
