English Poem- Love Will Find Its Way
LOVE WIL FIND IT'S WAY
I held it tight,
afraid to lose it,
It was there,
but never truly mine.
I guarded it
throughout my life,
It stayed,
yet never embraced my love.
I caged it
against its will,
It accepted,
but lost its smile.
I forced my love,
hoping things would change,
It absorbed it,
but became silent.
I pulled the strings,
shaped it as I pleased,
It did change,
but lost its life.
It remained,
moving with time,
But its soul,
was never mine.
The harder I clutched,
the more I lost control,
It came close,
but never near.
What’s truly yours
will always return,
But if you push too hard,
it may break apart.
Let it fly,
soar in the sky,
enjoy the moment,
without a reason why.
If it’s meant for you,
it will find its way,
No matter the distance,
it will come back one day.
Love,
unconditionally,
and only then,
love will love you back.
