‘Pahchan Badal Gayi’ poem is a poignant reflection on self-identity and the transformative impact of life’s experiences. It begins with the speaker observing their reflection in the mirror, a place where they once found companionship in their smiles.
However, the present reveals a somber disconnect, as even the mirror seems to mirror sadness. The poem delves into a sense of loss – not of physical appearance, but of the essence of self. While the face remains the same, the identity, emotions, and spirit have shifted, leaving the speaker to question who they have become.
