English Poem by an Indian Writer- Embracing the Wind
EMBRACING THE WIND
The weather was calm,
so was I.
I felt I did a lot,
but as a result nothing I got.
I knew there could be something,
I must be missing.
and so I looked around,
hoping it would be found.
And then I waited,
for a long...long time.
But lost miserably
Having nothing in my hand.
Finally, I surrendered,
gone with the wind.
It was not enticing,
my mind was about to swing.
The change was huge,
My heart wriggled.
It was nothing I wanted,
And so I struggled.
I was hopeful,
believed in God.
He must have designed my life,
better than I have thought.
Slowly I embraced the wind,
with my open arms.
I was not willing initially, but still did it,
believing, it's the best I can get.
There was a light,
it was very bright.
More than I have thought,
A lot more I have got.
When you can't change the wind
go with the flow.
The more you will struggle,
the more you will feel the blow.
Believing in the destiny,
and going with the flow.
Gives you things,
better than you have imagined.
Your thoughts are limited,
so you can be naive.
But he knows everything,
so embrace what he decides.
There can be a garden
a garden of love.
But you only asked for a bouquet
See what you could have missed.
