A PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS : ARE WE SEARCHING TOO HARD

Finding Happiness Within- A Pursuit of Happiness

“I just want to be happy.” We hear this often, as if happiness were some distant goal to chase. People travel to mountains, fill up clubs, and buy things, all for a fleeting smile.

And while that’s good—seeking joy in experiences—it makes me wonder: Do we need something to be happy?

It’s confusing, isn’t it?

A person with a high-paying job might go through an entire day without even a hint of a smile. Meanwhile, a group of kids in worn-out clothes, uncertain of their next meal, laughs heartily, carefree and full of life.

They seem to tell the world they know how to be happy—even in adversity.

“While the pursuit of happiness often drives us outward, true contentment comes from finding happiness within and embracing the joy in simplicity.”

So, where does happiness come from? Is it something we find in the world around us, or is it quietly waiting within?

A child, just entering this world with nothing to his name, smiles with pure joy. A smile for no reason… or maybe it’s a smile of victory, his silent celebration of simply being here.

It makes you wonder—why do we grown-ups search so hard for reasons to smile? Can’t we be happy right where we are, with whatever we have?

We’re just older versions of that child, who knew joy without needing any reason.

Happiness… it’s confusing, yet perhaps beautifully simple.

DO WE NEED ANY REASON TO BE HAPPY

OR it’s WITHIN US…..
