‘Sard Hawa’ is an expression of the heart’s restlessness amidst life’s challenges, symbolized by the biting cold wind. as I penned these lines, I delved into the depths of emotions – where the heart searches for the warmth of hope but finds itself burdened by dissapointments.
The poem captures how life’s trials and unfulfilled wishes often obscure our path, leaving us chasing fleeting moments of joy and connection. It reflects my inner dialogue between despair and persistence, where the soul continues its pursuit of love and meaning despite feeling lost in the “cold.”
Through this piece, I aim to evoke a sense of relatability and introspection, reminding readers that even in life’s hardest winters, the heart holds the courage to hope and persevere.
सर्द हवा
सर्द हवा में तंग दिल
मुंहज़ोर हो गया।
आफ़ताब की तलाश में
दिल चोर हो गया।
वसीहत-ए-दिल की
आज़माइशों में खो गए।
वो आलम-ए-बहार
मख़सूस निगाहों की
ताक़ुब में रह गया।
