UNIQUE POEM- THE FRAGRANCE OF THE FLOWER
LOVELY FLOWERS
Those were lovely flowers
but soon they were dead.
I held them for a moment,
but soon their beauty fled.
Now they are forgotten leaves,
fluttered souls.
Nestled in my arms
left their fragrance and then gone.
Their fragrance will be there,
for some moment I guess.
Enticing my soul,
rendering history
that I have pressed.
Then it will be gone
as if it never existed.
Because time fades the memory,
no matter how hard you clutch.
