Whispers of the ocean
When I was a child in class six our teacher gave us the task to write a poem on ‘WAVE’. I didn’t know that time, I could write a poem. It was my first time. I took the help of my friend and we together wrote a few lines. Well in school I alone took the entire credit and admiration ;). The poem is very short and simple but it gave a start to my writing journey. Let me know in the comment section how you find the poem.
THE DANCE OF THE OCEAN
Like a rhythm full of life
Jumping high and then dive.
Moving like a shining girl,
as she is wearing a pearl.
When the sun rays fall on it,
it seems like a colorful bride.
Moving with all its pride,
and shines like a glittering star.
When it jumps towards me,
I could see the mystery in it.
I feel it's asking me to stare
to find what is inside it.
When it sleeps it becomes quite,
and it doesn't make a noise.
I think it doesn't care.
